In his third appearance at Curtas, multidisciplinary artist and American filmmaker Kevin Jerome Everson takes us on a black-and-white film journey through Detroit Zoo, introducing us to Maya Perry, who speaks poetically about the return to nature of the crested toad, a species whose large golden eyes can only be found in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
